I Quit My Job to do P90X

by B on December 3, 2009

Well, that’s not the only reason, but I see it as an opportunity to own my time and my life more than in the past.  I get tired of the start/stop process that has been my attempts at losing weight in the past.  Many times it was caused by work related distractions, traveling for work, or just being burnt out as a result of work.  I’ve worked from home for most of the past 10 years, so it’s easy to burn out.

I’m starting this program AGAIN today.  I’m going to plan it into my schedule and keep work from interfering with it.

Also, to those people who have commented over the past couple month, I apologize for not approving them.  For some reason I never got an alert that they were submitted.

Good luck with your restart. I’ve done a few rounds and most of my day is taken up by a 3 hour round trip commute and then 9-10 hours in an office. I wanted to get in shape without interferring with the little family time I have so I comitted to workout out when everyone is sleeping. In my case that means 5:30 am workouts. It sucks (especially when it’s dark and cold out) but it’s my only choice. I don’t do much traveling but that’s got to be hard when trying to stick with a routine. As Tony says “keep pushing play…keep pushing play.”

Good luck, I am sure you will do it. P90X is an awesome work out. If you can find a work out buddy that always helps on those days you don’t feel like working out. Keep us all posted. “BRING IT”
